Hackwith Design: One Top, Two Ways
On top of that, it is also a piece that can be easily mixed and matched. It’s simple enough for a pair of jeans, but formal enough to go over a dress or maxi skirt.
I wanted to put my Hackwith Design top to the test and see if I could make two completely different looks work and, in my humble opinion, I think both are awesome outfits.
For the first outfit, I paired my top with these navy relaxed fit pants, navy blue suede shoes and a tan colored bag. I wanted this outfit to fit a more casual mood. I look put together enough for appetizers and drinks, but simple enough to just wear lounging around my house.
The second look I envisioned to be more professional. Pairing the top with a black blazer, cranberry colored pants and black heeled booties, I could go to a business meeting or a special evening event in this outfit.
One of the best parts about supporting slow fashion companies is that it forces me to really think about what I’m purchasing and who I want my money to go to. Hackwith Design is a local company who makes everything in house and puts out a newly released item every week in limited quantities. This not only gives you an exclusive item that won’t be found anywhere else, but it also reduces waste in the long run. To learn more about Hackwith Design’s mission values, click here.
